Research on High-Torque-Density Design for Axial Modular Flux-Reversal Permanent Magnet Machine

چکیده
The traditional flux reversal permanent magnet (FRPM) machine has high torque ripple due to the double salient-pole structure, and effective air-gap length is increased by structure of stator tooth surface, which affects size magnetomotive force (MMF). This paper proposes an axial modular flux-reversal (AM-FRPM) with attractive capabilities. Based on magnetic field modulation theory, a method achieve optimal harmonic contributions was developed. Then, principle for high-torque-density generation in AM-FRPM under alternating magnetization topology investigated using PM armature reaction modulation. In addition, cogging suppression mechanism, guides selection stator-slot rotor-pole combinations, investigated. comprehensive comparison electromagnetic characteristics two machines FRPM conducted. advantages disadvantages three were analyzed. Finally, prototypes manufactured tested verify correctness theoretical analysis.
